Library
Computers with Internet connections are available for use, by individuals and classes. There is a comfortable area with couches where students an read, study or relax. Dannevirke High School Library has a very good range of fiction, non-fiction and reference material. We have invested in the latest World Book Encyclopaedia for quick reference and new fiction is steadily put on the shelves over the school year.
All students are encouraged to read for recreation as well as learning skills needed to find information from a variety of sources.
At lunchtime the computers are in constant use and playing board games is a popular activity.
If information cannot be found in our collection, we have the use of the National Library School Service in Palmerston North. Requests are made through the Dannevirke High School Librarian.
Photocopying, binding and laminating are also done at moderate prices.
