With great weather, colourful keen students (as seen on this page), and thirteen parent volunteers it ensured a very successful day. Swimming is not normally associated with high level achievement in sport at Dannevirke High School. However, over the years the district and school have produced a number of national level swimmers, the current student in this category being Jenna Buchanan. Jenna continued her excellent achievements in that she broke six records. It was a real pleasure to watch such a well trained athlete, who is totally dedicated to her sport and has exceptionally high goals. She is an example to us all.
