Kia ora, Greetings

Tēnā koutou katoa.  The last week of a very long, Eleven Week Term has finished.  Thank you to everyone that has helped our students this term.  It is very much appreciated.  Please make sure that students, staff and parents/caregivers enjoy a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Term Two, means Winter Uniform.  It is important that all students are in the correct gear for the start of the term.  All uniform items are available to be purchased from Schooltex at The Warehouse.

This last week has seen the Year 12’s complete the RYDA course at the A & P Showgrounds.  What a fantastic day for these students learning about safe driving.  Dannevirke High School would like to thank Dannevirke Rotary for putting this on, along with Road Safety Education and the New Zealand Police.

On the Thursday of the first week of Term Two the Dannevirke High School Cross Country is taking place.  For the first time ever we are having a mass participation run as a Colour Fun Run.  This means that the students will get covered in paint powder.  Students are to wear white clothing which they do not mind getting paint all over them.  Come along and enjoy the afternoon with us but be aware that it might get a little messy!

Enjoy the holidays and get ready for another very busy term.
