At Dannevirke High School we provide a variety of sporting activities for students.
With the support from local sporting clubs and Sports Manawatu, the opportunity exists for students to compete at any level in the list of sporting codes offered at our School.
Pride, passion and sportsmanship are key ingredients of the School’s sporting ethos which is instilled in every student.
The success in the delivery of our Sport Programs is within the hands of our Sports HERO's - our Volunteers! Without the generousity of volunteers that support our school through sharing their knowledge and skills in coaching, training, managing, first aid, drivers, fundraising, social media, referees and mentors, we would not have these oportunities for our students. We treasure and appreciate all our volunteers, those past, present and future.
