LEARNING SUPPORT CO-ORDINATOR

My name is Lisa Bond, I am a learning support coordinator (LSC) and am based at Dannevirke High School. The LSC role is  fully-funded by the Ministry of Education with a focus on providing quality, inclusive, culturally sustaining support students who need it.

As an (LSC) I am an advocate for students with learning support and/or well-being needs, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met. My aim is to ensure all students, particularly those with mild-to-moderate, neurodiverse, or high-and-complex learning support needs, receive appropriate assistance. I work alongside teachers, parents, and external agencies to identify, plan for, and coordinate support for these learners. I also focus on the transition from Primary to Dannevirke High school.
